Products

The Shipcontroller family of products is powered by cutting-edge marine remote control technology, offering the most advanced solutions on the market, from basic systems that meet essential needs to the most sophisticated remotes, including disruptive features like Shipcontroller's dynamic positioning system.

Shipcontroller EZVector

Shipcontroller EZVector

The Shipcontroller EZVector is a remote control that makes operating your boat both easy and intuitive, thanks to its three-axis joystick.

The intelligence behind EZVector's control algorithms allows it to calculate and handle complex combined maneuvers, which are executed by simply moving the joystick in the appropriate direction. For example:

  • The SwayEase feature allows for lateral movement of the boat when using two engines and a bow thruster.

  • The PivotPoint feature allows for precise control of the boat's rotation when using two engines and two thrusters.

EZVector supports a variety of propulsion configurations, including single-engine setups or even a dedicated mode for IPS propulsion.

As a multifunctional remote control, EZVector offers standout features, including:

  • An integrated display with navigation data telemetry and the OnRemoteSetup menu system.

  • Hold Mode with thrusters.

  • DPS Mode for controlling the Shipcontroller Dynamic Positioning System.

  • A chain counter and anchoring scope calculator.

  • A graphic sounder display and depth alarm.

Shipcontroller DockerPro

Shipcontroller DockerPro

The Shipcontroller DockerPro is a remote control with a graphical display and data telemetry, incorporating toggle switches for direct control of engines and bow and stern thrusters. It also includes independent buttons for controlling the second speed of engines and other control functions.

Like the EZVector model, it is designed as a multifunctional remote control system. Thanks to its graphical display, data telemetry, and integration with the Shipcontroller system, it offers a set of features that make it unique in the market. Among its standout features are:

  • Integrated display with navigation data telemetry and the OnRemoteSetup menu system.

  • Hold Mode with bow and stern thrusters.

  • DPS Mode for controlling the Shipcontroller Dynamic Positioning System.

  • Chain counter and anchoring scope calculator. WindlassGuardian feature for windlass protection.

  • Graphic depth sounder display and depth alarm.

Shipcontroller DockerOne

Shipcontroller DockerOne

The Shipcontroller DockerOne remote control is the basic model in the range of remote controls from the Shipcontroller system. Despite its simplicity, it includes all the essential functions to assist with docking and anchoring maneuvers:

  • Dual-speed engine control via control levers, with independent buttons for the second speed (if available).

  • Control of bow and stern thrusters via control levers.

  • Control of up to two anchor windlasses.

  • Control of the horn and deck lights.

  • Button to activate engine control (if required).

  • Function selection button to choose the second anchor windlass.

It also inherits some of the key features of the Shipcontroller system, such as its robust bidirectional radio system with encryption, which allows for secure and powerful communication, ensuring constant and smooth data exchange with the boat’s systems. This enables, for instance, the remote control to alert you with vibration and light signals if it detects a loss of engine control.

The DockerOne remote can also be used as a backup remote in systems with EZVector or DockerPro remotes, thanks to its concurrency control function, which prevents two remotes from having control simultaneously.

Although the DockerOne can operate with almost any propulsion configuration (except in IPS mode), if your boat has engines that support proportional control and/or bow/stern thrusters with proportional control, the best option is a EZVector or DockerPro remote, which allows you to fully benefit from the advantages of proportional thrusters.

Dynamic Positioning System

Shipcontroller DPS

Shipcontroller DPS is an automatic control system that maintains the boat’s position and heading within very tight margins of error. Launched in 2021, it marked a milestone by being the first affordable, general-purpose DPS system that can be installed with a wide variety of boat propulsion configurations.

Shipcontroller DPS is especially useful in situations such as:

  • Preparing for docking or anchoring, keeping the boat in position while you prepare the fenders or anchor.

  • During docking or anchoring maneuvers, helping maintain the position while you carry out the maneuvers.

  • While waiting for your turn to refuel.

  • In bottom fishing, keeping the boat positioned over the fishing ground without needing to deploy a long anchor line.

Shipcontroller DPS is activated, deactivated, and controlled via a EZVector or DockerPro remote control. In fact, DPS is one of the operating modes of the remote.

The DPS system also offers a docking assistance feature: when activated, the remote retains full control of the propulsion systems. The assistance function allows you to easily adjust the boat’s position or heading using the remote controls, and when you release the controls, DPS automatically reactivates to maintain the current position. This provides valuable assistance and ensures safety during docking or approach maneuvers.

Shipcontroller NET

Shipcontroller Net

Shipcontroller NET is an extension of the Shipcontroller system that allows multiple radio transceivers to be deployed across the boat's deck, creating a mesh of communication nodes with the following advantages:

  • Enhanced robustness and range: Particularly beneficial on large vessels or in situations where a metallic deck can block radio signals.

  • Redundancy and high availability: Ensuring continuous operation of the radio system for critical applications.

The radio transceivers are interconnected via the Shipcontroller CANbus, which can extend up to 250 meters, or even further with bus extensions. The transceivers are powered directly from the CANbus, simplifying installation.

The NET system supports multiple remote controls, even from different models, with concurrency control to ensure that only one has control at a time.
